Privacy policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
FutureFlows respects privacy and handles personal data carefully. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use and store it, and how you can contact us about privacy questions.
Who we are
FutureFlows is operated by Niels Jansen. You can contact us at contact@futureflows.net.
Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information you send to us, such as your name, email address, and message content.
- Technical information processed by our hosting and form providers, such as IP address, browser information, and request logs.
- Website usage and advertising measurement data only when you consent to the relevant category.
- Your privacy preferences, stored locally as a version number, analytics choice, marketing choice, and update time.
- Google Ads account, campaign, reporting, keyword planning, and related advertising data where access is explicitly authorized for internal workflow use.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Operate and improve the FutureFlows website and internal workflows.
- Respond to inquiries and support requests.
- Measure website performance and advertising effectiveness.
- Perform internal Google Ads keyword research, reporting, campaign planning, and human-reviewed draft exports.
- Maintain security, auditability, and compliance with platform requirements.
Google Ads API data
FutureFlows uses Google Ads API access for internal first-party workflow purposes only. Google Ads data is used for keyword planning, reporting, and draft campaign review. The internal tool is not a public SaaS product and does not give external users access to Google Ads data.
We do not sell Google Ads data or use it for unrelated purposes.
Storage and security
Access credentials are stored in local environment variables or secure service settings controlled by FutureFlows. Local workflow outputs may be stored on operator machines and project folders.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to reduce unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Sharing of information
We may share data with trusted service providers only when needed to operate our website, analytics, advertising, hosting, communication, or internal workflow systems. These may include hosting providers, Google services, analytics or advertising platforms, and email providers.
We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and measurement
FutureFlows uses a first-party preference record called futureflows_consent_v1 to remember your choices. It contains no name, email address, phone number, message, or form content.
Analytics is denied by default. If you allow analytics, Google Tag Manager may load approved analytics tags and receive page paths, form-start signals, and successful lead events. Form fields and message contents are never included in those analytics events.
Marketing is denied by default. If you allow marketing, Google Tag Manager may load approved Meta and other marketing tags for advertising measurement. Meta and Google measurement scripts are not loaded before the relevant consent choice.
YouTube and Google Calendar are click-to-load. No player, thumbnail, or calendar request is sent to those services until you choose to open that specific embed. Once opened, the provider may process technical information. Interactions inside the cross-origin calendar iframe cannot be observed by FutureFlows analytics.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, legal obligations, security, auditability, or legitimate business operations.
Your choices
You can reopen the privacy settings through Cookie preferences in the footer. Saving new choices updates the stored preference. If measurement scripts were already loaded, withdrawing analytics or marketing consent reloads the page after recording the denied choice so those scripts are unloaded.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data. To make a privacy request, contact contact@futureflows.net.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, workflows, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be available on this page.
